ORGANISATION

The office was established on 1 June 2002, and has a staff of 17 people among whom are investigators, prosecutors, an analyst and administrative personnel.
Casework is organised in inter disciplinary groups whose assignments are:

•  procurement of cases
• analysis and documentation
• investigation and prosecution

The office is headed by a Director assisted by a Deputy Director and a Chief Superintendant.

SICO's aim is to:

• handle cases as swiftly as circumstances will allow 
• ensure that perpetrators are brought to justice and innocent people are not prosecuted.
